It might not be entirely your own fault and something you have to deal with. So, if you don't have much of a personality and want to do youtube videos, then eventually you will just quit or you will improve and let more of your personality shine. I wasn't comfortable enough around them to be me, in all actuality, I just wasn't comfortable enough just being me that I tried to be a toned down, mild version. My in-laws did not believe my wife when she would tell stories of some of the things I did. I don't let my true personality out but for a few people. I have some serious public speaking anxiety and through the couple of years forcing myself to do youtube videos, I have grown in that area. I welcome it because it helps me get better. I think there needs to be some constructive criticism. I have music from the song I'm working on playing in the background because I'm talking about a song I'm working on at the same time, but I have learned that if I don't speak very clearly, the background definitely detracts from what I'm saying.īTW, I just finished a tutorial on how I do trance production on the IPAD, before seeing this thread. Also, I think it's important if one does this, that the speaking is plenty loud and clear. For a long time,on terrestrial radio, when a DJ spoke, he had music in the background and actually thought tt made some of their ramblings somehow, easier to listen to. I'm not too guilty of the background music pet peeve, but I also don't see what the problem is with background music.
